Where I'm FromI am from pinched cheeks  and friendly customers approaching, asking  “Who’s the new arrival?”   “It’s our baby girl!”   
I am from Grace at Thanksgiving  or from church bells and incense that  twist around confessions, or sit stagnant  drifting through the wood mesh screen which was  my saving grace.   But it fades.

I don't really use DeviantArt anymore. But I figured since we've been doing a lot of writing in my English/Lit class that I would post an assignment we had ("Where I'm From" poem). It is just the first draft and I wrote it in a bit of a rush but I'm rather fond of it already and I'd love for some feedback on what people think :)

For now though, it's off to do homework that has only one answer. Math. Ew.
